bigdave982 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Finally replaced the brushes in my pump and thoroughly skinned my knuckles refitting it. Still no joy with it firing up,akways has been intermittantThought id give the bus a treat and wash itPulked out of the wash and there it was burning away merrily. Then i remembered this has happened before, same carwash tho on the way to workSeems to suggest a wiring fault but where do you guys reckon it could be? Front scuttle nr the temp sensor or underneath around the burner itself? That seems unlikely to me due to it location high up underneath Or should i just move closer to that wash:-) Quote
bigdave982 Posted April 3, 2013 Author Report Posted April 3, 2013 I should add my next move is to chuck a gallon of water over the bottom ns of the windscreen and see what happens Quote
chrispb123456 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 The large red cable in the multiplug to the heater is prone to corroding and breaking off, this will also cause a no response from controller when using VCDS Quote
